Jeans for Genes Day
All staff at Fairwood Fabrications Ltd swapped their usual work clothes for jeans on Jeans for Genes Day 2011 which took place on 7th October and rose over £80!
As well as donating £2 each to wear their jeans for the day, there was a Cake Sale and a 'Guess the Baby' competition which was made up of all their own baby photographs (causing lots of giggles throughout the day).

Lucy Parfitt from Accounts spoke for everyone when she said "not only is this a great cause but we've had a fantastic day in work".
Jeans for Genes is the national charity raising money for children with genetic disorders, to fund the care they need now and the research which could change their futures.
Genetic disorders affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK - that's more than 30,000 babies born each year - Fairwood Fabrications Ltd is happy to support such a worthwhile cause.
Thanks you to everyone who donated and took part on the day.
I would just like to thank you all for your efforts, commitment and support
