Every reline brings its own challenges this one was no exception, the way we crashed off into this shut down put us on the back foot from the start, this was then compounded by the various structural & shell repairs that we were faced with. As a result of your efforts and that of your teams we managed to carry out this work efficiently and most importantly without any accidents.

During the Corus monthly contractors meeting yeaterday afternoon - Huw Davies (Engineering Contracts Manager) standing in for Chris Ditton informed the meeting that Mike Wixsley had included the following in his monthly business brief - how pleased he was with Fairwood Fabrications and their response to his recent leaadsafe audit. He explained that Mike was extremely happy with the attitude of the managers when faced with the audit and the professionalism of the company and the actions they took in turning the situation around, he also thought the short film was a good idea and well presented.

Thank you for all of your support throughout this project. We could not have completed this event on time without the support of Fairwood Engineering.
Even though you were pulled into this projects as we were ramping up, you were called upon to go above and beyond the duty expected of you and your company. You achieved that goal with stunning success. We were all surprsied by the quality of your work with limited timing and the pricing that was quoted. The modifications done to our testing compontents was professional and exact to what we required. I would simply explain what I needed, accompanied by a sketch or drawing, and you were able to complete it with little guidance from us. With the crunched schedule that we had, you were able to meet our needs. With the arrival of our technical experts, even more changes came. They were impressed by the work that you did and the timely return of modifications and new designs.
For your assistance on this project, I am very appreciative and wish we had you in the States so that I could pile more work on you. Thank you very much for your assistance.
